I think we can all agree that nothing is the same anymore. To say 300 words without mentioning the COVID disruption and its global effects, is also not possible. But so far, we could not have made it that far without some digital tools.
Listed are 5 most frequently used applications:
1) Zoom: No. 1 on the list will have to be the Zoom app. This app makes virtual meetings, seminars, conferences possible. With easy to set up steps, a meeting ID and password (optional), people can meet up from any location conveniently.
2) One Note: This Microsoft beauty allows you take down notes, drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries during seminars and meetings. It is perfect for garnering information, synchronization and organizing work and ideas.
3)Telegram: Often called ‘WhatsApp Twin’ for its similar features, Telegram allows its users to send end to end encrypted multimedia messages, voice and video calls. Due to its large size participant’s capacity, many groups would rather host on telegram for its official atmosphere and tone.
4) Google and family: From Chrome to Drive, Docs to Translate, the list is endless. Google’s ever-growing family has become the one stop store for everything Digital.
5) Netflix: Taking a step away from the corporate vibes, there’s Netflix, the virtual cinema. With new series uploaded every now and then, one can grab a bucket of popcorn, dim the lights for that cinematic effect and dive into a favorite movie.
Although, admittedly, most of these apps have been in existence long before the pandemic but picked up steam and relevance among the young and old alike.
